Cheers and Tears for Norcross High's Class of 2011

While family and friends watched with pride, 519 seniors received their diplomas.

Friday evening the graduates of Norcross High School's Class of 2011 walked across the stage and the Gwinnett Arena.

Andrea Howard, Valedictorian, earned the first position in her class with Salutatorian Kristen Knowles as her running mate in the list of 115 honor graduates with minimum average grades of 90.

Graduation ceremonies for all of the almost 9,000 Gwinnett County high school seniors took place at the Gwinnett Center Arena, as well as various high school stadiums and ballrooms this past week beginning on the 23rd and extending from the 27th through Memorial Day.
