Weather System Test Rescheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday

The usual siren test was originally set for Saturday in the city of Norcross.

A weather system siren test for the city of Norcross has been scheduled for Sunday, May 20, at 1 p.m.

According to message the Norcross Police Department sent Friday through Nixle, the test was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was moved due to the taking place downtown that day.

The message notes that the test will not take place if a severe weather advisory is issued for the city. The National Weather Service predicts Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 85 degrees, though.
