Radloff Qualifies as Democrat in School Board Re-Election

The Gwinnett Board of Education chairwoman of District V has had a republican party affiliation since 1972.

Longtime school board member Louise Radloff qualified Wednesday as a democrat for her re-election as District V chairwoman, according to the democratic party office in Dacula.

The Gwinnett Democrats website details that Radloff has been running as a republican since being first elected to the Gwinnett Board of Education in 1972. Since then, she's served for 10 terms.

“I remain driven to help maintain the superior public school system we have in Gwinnett County," said Radloff on the website. "Education is the key to our future. The democratic party is and has been focused on supporting public education, which makes me comfortable running as a democrat.”
