Norcross Road Closures

In addition to the weekly road closures due to construction (which can be found after the jump), the following roads and streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 3 due to :

• Bostic Street
• Britt Avenue
• Jones Street, up to College Street
• College Street, to Holcomb Bridge Road
• Park Drive, up to North Peachtree Street
• Skin Alley
• Wingo Street (Jones Street to 168 Wingo St. will be closed -- the rest of Wingo Street including up to Born Street. will remain opened.)
• South Peachtree Street (The only closing is from the crosswalk in the middle of downtown/in front of up to Jones Street. The section from the crosswalk to Holcomb Bridge will remain accessible.)
• Lawrenceville Street (The section from Mitchell Road to Jones Street will be closed for through traffic –- Norcross Police will man barricades to permit access for handicapped parking.)

These roadways in Norcross and the surrounding areas may be affected by construction this week. The month is in bold if the estimated time to finish has been extended.

Cruse Road from Sweetwater Circle to Club Drive will require intermittent lane closures, and traffic shifts through May 2013 for roadway improvements and bridge replacement, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Indian Trail Road from Beaver Ruin Road to Oakbrook Parkway will require intermittent nightly lane closures beginning through June 30 for paving  and median installation , weather permitting. The closures Sunday through Thursday will be from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, and Fridays from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Indian Trail Road from Beaver Ruin Road to Oakbrook Parkway will require intermittent lane closures through August for roadway improvements and median installation, weather permitting. Any closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Jimmy Carter Boulevard at North Norcross Tucker Road will require intermittent lane closures through July for roadway improvements and paving operations, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, and 9:00pm to 5:00am.

North Berkeley Lake Road from Bush Road to Lakeshore Drive will be closed through February 2013 for Berkeley Lake Dam repairs. The detour route will be North Berkeley Lake Road to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to South Berkeley Lake Road to North Berkeley Lake Road and the reverse.

North Norcross Tucker Road from Western Hills Drive to Pelican Drive will require intermittent lane closures through August for roadway widening and intersection improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Old Norcross Tucker Road from Britt Road to South Norcross Tucker Road will require intermittent lane closures through November for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Peachtree Industrial Boulevard from Pleasant Hill Road to Summer Chase Drive will require intermittent lane closures through July for multi-use path construction and roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
