Norcross City Council Meets Tonight
The 7 p.m. meeting is preceded by a 6:30 p.m. work session.
The regular monthly meeting of the will convene at City Hall for a work session at 6:30 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Chambers.
The agenda includes: A Special Use Permit for a place of worship (Power Worship Center) on Atlantic Boulevard; city policy on elected officials serving on boards and authorities; drainage improvement plans on Valley Road; disposal of surplus equipment by the police department; using a Homeland Security reimbursement grant to purchase fingerprint identification equipment to be used in the field; and enhancement of the city recycling program, among other business.

The council also will congratulate the Norcross Police Department for earning the Certificate of Achievement Award from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety.
