Hometown Hero: Meadowcreek High Graduate Completes Air Force Training
Air Force Airman Auriel D. Thompson is a 2009 graduate of Meadowcreek High School.
A Meadowcreek High graduate from Norcross has graduated from basic military training at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Air Force Airman Auriel D. Thompson, a 2009 graduate of Meadowcreek High School, completed a challenging eight-week program to succeed at basic training.
It included discipline, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare knowledge. In addition to graduating from basic training, Thompson also will earn credits toward an associate's degree in applied sciences.
She is the daughter of Kevin Thompson, of Norcross, and the granddaughter of Lillian Thompson of South Carolina.
