GOP Candidates Campaign Trail Leads To TONH Funday Monday

Dina DeGiorgio, Eric Zausner and Lee Tu get the senior perspective on North Hempstead life.

Seniors participating in the at  met some of the Republican candidates for the upcoming Nov.8, 2011 election. This week's theme was health care and featured an expo to give the seniors access to resources.

On hand was attorney Dina DeGiorgio, a candidate for councilwoman in Port Washington. Also in the mix: Lee Tu, an auditor and accountant with experience in government and private sectors, who is running for TONH Supervisor. Present, too, was  Eric Zausner, a candidate for Nassau County Legislator, and a lifelong Port Washington resident. He says his special interest is homeland security and claims to have Federal Emergency Management Agency certification in 20 areas.

Yes nice story. But I would like to hear from the candidates on what they are going to do for the TONH. Are we going to increase debt, continue on the super highway on Main St, be anti business and then make sure if anyone wants something done they can wait years for a permit? This area is going down hill fast and we need people with a plan. So let us hear.

Nice story Dina. We know you will be a great asset to the TONH as their councilwoman. They need someone with your talent and skills to better the community. Good luck! Toni & Dave
