Get Update on City's Railroad Crossing Study

Find details on the engineering study involving the railroad crossing at Holcomb Bridge Road in downtown Norcross.

Citizens have often voiced safety concerns about the intersection in Downtown Historic Norcross where Holcomb Bridge Road and the railroad tracks cross.

To address those concerns, the City is soliciting citizens to help identify the community’s concerns and input on what improvements they envision.

The effort is part of a formal study being conducted by Moreland Altobelli, a subcontracted engineering firm hired by the City for this project. In a public open house held at the Community Center on Tuesday (October 29), citizens were invited to drop in and talk with City staff about the project, discuss project goals and objectives, and review potential solutions.
