From the city of Norcross website: http://norcrossga.net/community/article.php?Article_ID=461

It's that time of year again for Norcross' Clean-Up and Recycling Events and "CAN" Do for Hunger Food Drive.

Shredding Event is always incredible.   American Security Shredding will again have their on-site shred truck.  You can watch your materials being shredded on the video display monitor.  Go-Green and be secure!  Did you know that one three (3) foot high stack of paper is equal to a tree standing thirty (30) feet tall?  This event is open to the public and is free.  Location: Norcross City Hall, 65 Lawrenceville Street, 9am -12pm or until the truck is full.  Please limit amount to shred - equivalent of five medium size boxes per vehicle.  This event is open to the public and free.

Atlanta Recycling Solution and city volunteers will be on hand to help unload your items.  For a complete list of what can be recycled, visit the City website and look on the flyer.  This event is open to the public.  Location:  Norcross Community Center, 10 College Street, 9 am - 1 pm.  This event is free except for the following - NOTE:  ACCEPTING TELEVISIONS (EXCEPT CONSOLE AND PROJECTION) FOR A $10.00 FEE.

Clean-up Day is a great reason to clean out your garage, yard or attic - throw out anything that's not a hazardous material.   Residents of the City of Norcross will be able to drop off any bulky items, trash, old appliances/furniture and any other accumulated trash or unwanted items: SOLVENT OR HAZARDOUS MATERIAL WILL NOT BE ALLOWED (open to City of Norcross residents only) at the  Public Works facility at 345 Lively (just off Buford Hwy.) 8am to 3pm. This event is free.

2012 "CAN" Do for Hunger Campaign is a collection of canned and non-perishable goods for our local food bank! Clean out your pantry and donate to our local food bank for members of our community in need.  We are asking all participants to bring canned or non-perishable goods to support the 2012 "CAN" Do for Hunger Campaign.

Drug Take Back Event is hosted by the Norcross Police and will take place at city hall. Locals will be able to safely dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs.

It is all great for the environment and our community!
