City of Norcross Recycling Services Expanded

Advanced Disposal has added to the list of items it will pick up.

Once a week, on the same day as garbage collection, Advanced Disposal will also pick up your recycling. (Contact the city for large or small bins.) 

Here's an expanded list of the items to include in your recycling, effective immediately:

  • Newspapers and inserts
  • Cardboard boxes
  • Pizza boxes
  • Kraft paper
  • Cereal boxes
  • Paper towel cores
  • Tissue boxes
  • Computer paper
  • Office paper and file folders
  • Calendars
  • School papers
  • Magazines
  • Shopping catalogs
  • Envelopes
  • Paperboard
  • Paper grocery bags
  • Soda and beer cartons
  • Telephone books
  • Paperback books
  • Paper lunch bags
  • Discarded mail
  • Carbonless paper forms
  • Aluminum beverage containers
  • Stell/tin food containers
  • Glass bottles #1 (Water or soda bottles)
  • Plastic bottles #2 Natural (Milk jug) 
  • Plastic bottles #2 Pigmented (Laundry, shampoo bottles, etc.)
  • Plastic bottles #3-7 (Mustard bottles, etc.) 
  • Greeting cards
  • Shoes boxes
