City Council Meeting Tonight

A proposal for a artist retail suites at the Rectory will be discussed.

The Norcross City Council and Mayor will meet for a work policy session, followed by a regular council meeting this evening. 

On the agenda: the possibility of installing two solar radar signs in the city center to protect pedestrians, an upgrade to the City Hall camera system, the adoption of the ARC Green City support policies, among other items. 

A proposal will also be put forward to the creative use of the city-owned Rectory. The idea is to use the space for artists' studios and retail space. Economic Development manager Rusty Warner said in a memo that he has review the Norcross Art Alliance plan and thinks it is a good idea.

The work policy session is at 6:30 pm. at City Hall in the second floor conference room. The council meeting will at place at 7 p.m. in the council chambers downstairs.
