Woman Bails Boyfriend out of Jail, Gets Him Right Back in

Inside the Police Reports: Just because a person bails you out doesn't mean that person wants to see you.

Talk about awkward love: A woman bailed her boyfriend out of jail, but shortly after, she called police to say that he violated his bond's conditions by contacting her.

According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the 58-year-old woman called police to say her 31-year-old boyfriend was in the driveway of her Norcross-area home that November Sunday.

While in her driveway, he texted her with: "Can you get me a Mountain Dew and a bologna sandwich and bring it to me? I'm outside in my car."

The girlfriend was scared he would come in and hurt her, so she called police.

She told officers that, even though he was in jail for aggravated assault and battery against her, she bailed him out because she felt sorry for him. She didn't want to see him, though, because she was afraid he was going to abuse her again.

Police confirmed with the jail the conditions of the man's bond, and he confirmed that the phone number of the text message was his.

The boyfriend was arrested for aggravated stalking and transported back to Gwinnett County Jail.
