Wells Fargo Robbery Suspect Nabbed at Atlanta Greyhound Bus Station

Jeremy Thompson, also known as Jeremy Cannon, is being held in Gwinnett County. He is accused of a bank robbery in the Norcross area.

Police arrested an Atlanta man late Wednesday night who is accused in the recent robbery of a Norcross-area Wells Fargo.

Suspect Jeremy Thompson, also known as Jeremy Cannon, was stopped at the Atlanta Greyhound bus station by Gwinnett County police detectives, according to an Sept. 5 press release.


"Detectives had discovered information leading them to believe that Thompson was going to travel to Miami by bus," said Cpl. Jake Smith, police spokesman, in a press release. "Thompson was in possession of a fake hand grenade when he was arrested."

Thompson, of 475 Oakdale Road in Atlanta, is charged with one count of armed robbery for the bank robbery in Gwinnett County. He is also being held for two other agencies. (He is suspected of armed robberies in Buckhead and Doraville, as well.)

Thompson is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
