The city of Norcross reminds residents that Norcross Police and the Public Works & Utilities departments are available 24 hours a day. Here are the best ways to report weather-related emergencies to them.

The city of Norcross is reminding residents of its 24-hour availability services for weather-related emergencies.

The Norcross Police and Norcross Public Works & Utilities departments are on call at all hours of the day and night, and emergency Public Works & Utilities crews are on standby in case wintry weather causes any power outages or dangerous road conditions, according to the website.

"The City's goal is to ensure the safety of our citizens - please keep travel to a minimum while roads are icy, and stay warm and safe," the post says.

If weather conditions cause any concerns or emergencies such as power outages or unsafe roads in city limits, residents should call the Norcross Police Department dispatcher at 770-448-2111.

The city also has its Inclement Weather Hotline at 678-966-0159. Residents should call this number for updates for Norcross City Hall regarding its regular business hours, which are weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

This information came from the city of Norcross website.
