Tree Falls on House in Norcross Area

The residence off Ivanhoe Court near Pirkle Road and Singleton Road is severely damaged, according to Gwinnett County Fire.

A Norcross-area home has been severely damaged by a tree falling on it Monday afternoon (June 17).

The home is located off the 5400 block of Ivanhoe Court near Pirkle Road and Singleton Road, according to Gwinnett County Fire spokesman Lt. Colin S. Rhoden. Fire crews were notified of the incident around 2:14 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The home's two residents weren't at the house during incident but have been displaced and will be using Red Cross assistance.

The electrical and gas utilities were secured to the house by the responders. The residents were advised not to enter the structurally compromised structure that was taped off.

Equipment on scene: 1-Engine and 1-Battalion Chief.
