Updated: Barricaded Man Surrenders

A man who barricaded himself in a room surrendered to police at the at 6650 Bay Circle.

The unidentified man peacefully surrendered to authorities after Gwinnett Police sent a SWAT team to the scene, according to multiple published reports.

According to Cpl. Edwin Ritter with Gwinnett Police, the Secret Service was serving a warrant to the man when the incident happened.

Ritter had said in an earlier email that the man "claims to be suicidal and it is unclear on whether or not he has any weapons."
