After Being Robbed, Sprint Store Burglarized

The burglary takes place six days after the store was allegedly robbed at gunpoint.

, a Sprint store in the City of Norcross was reportedly burglarized late one evening.

Norcross Police officers arrived at the cell phone store located on the 6000 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard around 11:36 p.m. on Dec. 27 after the business burglar alarm went off.

According to the police report, the suspect or suspects broke the glass to the front door by smashing it with a large rock.Β

After the business owner was notified and arrived at his store, he told police that cash from two register drawers had been taken, one of which was from an undamaged safe.

The owner told police that he wondered how anyone without a combination could enter the safe because it should have been closed overnight. Pry marks were not found on the safe, says the report.

The safe was in a storage room inside the business, where it also contained its stock of cell phones. The owner told police that he would have an employee do a full inventory to see if anything else had been stolen.

Miscellaneous clothing found in nearby bushes were collected as evidence.

Just six days prior, by two men who had a gun-shaped object in a paper bag. The report states one of the suspects walked with an employee to the storage area, where the suspect made demands for the phones. The suspect also opened the cash box located inside an open safe, said the employee.
