Sheriff's Office Arrests Accused Gunman in Norcross Area

Anibal Pacheco-Molina was taken into custody in connection with shooting a man in the arm.

Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that took place in the city of Norcross.

Anibal Pacheco-Molina is accused of shooting someone in the right arm Oct. 14 on the 2100 block of Terrace Club Court. 

After Norcross Police investigators secured a warrant for his arrest, Pacheco-Molina was arrested around noon Nov. 20 on the 4300 block of Windward Lane in the Norcross area.

"After hours of research and surveillance, fugitive investigators followed Molina’s trail to the Windward Lane location," according to a news release from Gwinnett Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Sean Smith.

On that Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Fugitive units surrounded the home on Windward Lane until Pacheco-Molina and another man exited the residence about got into a white Nissan Maxima. Police ordered the men to get out of the car while they backed out of the driveway.

Pacheco-Molina was positively identified and arrested on the charge of aggravated assault. He was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail.
