Police on Lookout for 'Armed and Dangerous' Homicide Suspect

Tony Craig is wanted in connection to the killing of a man that took place at the Ramada Inn in unincorporated Norcross last week. Another suspect is in custody.

Gwinnett County Police Department detectives have made an arrest in connection to a homicide that took place in unincorporated Norcross last Thursday (June 6), but are still searching for the primary suspect.

According to a news release from Gwinnett spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith, Brandy Leeane Coker, of Conyers, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and felony murder in connection to the killing of Dewayne Jackson. The 33-year-old Decatur male was found at the Ramada Inn on Oakbrook Parkway that Thursday afternoon.

Police are still on the lookout for the primary suspect, Tony Craig, who should be considered "armed and dangerous." According to Smith, Craig is a 26-year-old black male who goes by the nickname Polo. He's 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. His hair may be in small braids or cornrows, or may have been cut short following the murder.

Additionally, police believe Craig may be driving a black 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Detectives have obtained warrants against Craig for aggravated assault and felony murder. Coker was taken into custody on Saturday (June 8) and remains at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
