After interviewing witnesses, police determined that the incident started with an argument that took place inside the club. The debacle started when someone allegedly touched the buttocks of the suspect's female friend, and he thought that the victim did it. The two argued in the club and it continued in the parking lot.

After the suspect got into his vehicle, the victim and some of his friends approached the car and smashed the driver's window with a black object. Both parties were separated by friends, and the victim decided to walk back to the club entrance.

The suspect then drove his car around the parking lot and aimed straight for the victim at the entrance, running him over.

But he didn't stop there. The driver drove out of the parking lot, only to return to run over the victim again. On his return, he struck a taxi cab with the driver still inside. A large crowd was forming around the victim, and the suspect attempted to run over those people, too, but they pulled him over to the sidewalk.

He left and did not return for a third time, says the report. Police caught up with the suspect and attempted to pull him over, but he accelerated out of the officer's sight. The vehicle was found wrecked and abandoned later in the Checkers parking lot at the Jimmy Carter and Lawrenceville Highway intersection in unincorporated Tucker.
