Six people were injured and one person died in a traffic accident in northern Florida yesterday, the Associated Press reports.
Elva Pineda Leiva of Norcross was pronounced dead at the Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, according to the news report. She was in a 2002 GMC Yukon that overturned because of a blown tire.
Five of the eight people in the car were ejected because of the accident.
A four-year-old and nine-year-old are also in critical condition, according to the report. The women and children were not wearing their seat belts, the Florida Highway Patrol stated in the article.
