Victim: 'Juice' Man Barges Into Home, Threatens Life

A Gwinnett man has been arrested on the accusation that he barged into his ex-girlfriend's Norcross apartment in the middle of the night, punched her in the face and threatened to kill her.

Julian M. Swaizey, a 21-year-old Snellville man who also goes by the name Juice, was arrested last month and charged with simple assault, possession of a weapon during a crime, false imprisonment, criminal trespassing, battery, and terroristic threats and acts.

According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the incident occurred in the middle of the night almost a year ago at an apartment complex in unincorporated Norcross. The ex-girlfriend, then 23, told police that she was sleeping with her current boyfriend in her bedroom when they heard a loud bang and the door slam open.

Screaming, Swaizey allegedly came into the bedroom, grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the ground and started choking her. The report says he also punched her in the face twice, causing her right eye to become bruised and swollen.

The ex-girlfriend told police that the suspect then dragged her by the hair into the bathroom. In addition to calling her names, he allegedly said he was going to kill her for leaving him. She attempted to leave but he only used more force on her and repeated that he was going to kill her and they were going "to die together," the report says.

After showing her a gun tucked in his pants, he continued to say that she was the only one for him and that he will kill her because she belongs to only him.

Then, in a sudden turn of events, he ran outside and left her apartment, according to the report.

The victim's current boyfriend repeated the same story to police. He added that he attempted to stop the suspect, but Swaizey allegedly showed him his gun and told him to back up. If he didn't, he would get hurt and there were a men outside, the report says. The boyfriend complied.

With police at the victim's home, Swaizey repeatedly called her on the phone. While on speaker phone, the suspect told his ex-girlfriend that she better not have called police and if she did, he would come back.

The officer attempted to speak with the suspect but he hung up.

Swaizey's mother allegedly called, too, and the officer spoke with her. She told police that her son was just downstairs, but when officers asked for her address, she told him she was suddenly busy and hung up the phone.
