A student is in a coma after a joy ride accident Wednesday.

According to Norcross Police spokesman Cpt. Brian Harr, eight or nine students skipped school that April 25th morning and went car surfing, which involves hanging on the side of a vehicle.

When the car was turning in a Norcross neighborhood off Beaver Ruin Road, it flipped and trapped 16-year-old Alex Mora under the car.
