New Spa to Open at Site of 2012 Shootings
Gangnam Sauna is moving into the old Su Jung Health Sauna location on Buford Highway, which was also the site of the murder-suicide that left five people dead in February last year.
Another Korean spa is moving into the old Su Jung Health Sauna location off Buford Highway, the same Norcross site where five people died in a murder-suicide last year.
After more than a year of being an empty storefront, the 6005 Buford Hwy. building will now hold Gangnam Sauna, which plans to open either in late March or early April, according to the business.
The location is a place which many in the area are familiar with because of what happened there February 21, 2012. On that Tuesday evening, a man shot and killed his two sisters and their husbands inside the spa, and then turned the gun on himself.

The victims had been the owners of the business, and soon the building was vacated with a sign asking for new tenants. No business sign has appeared on the building until recently, with Gangnam Sauna's logo.
According to its website, Gangnam Sauna is a 24-hour Korean spa that will offer similar services as Su Jung had. The facility will have different sauna rooms, a Korean restaurant, and a hair, nail and skin salon. Massages, body scrubs and facials also will be offered to guests.
