Norcross PD Seeking Armed Robbery Suspect

Police believe the same person is responsible for three armed robberies off Brook Hollow Parkway and Jimmy Carter Boulevard last week.

Norcross Police is seeking the public's assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

According to a news release from the Norcross PD, three personal armed robberies occurred off Brook Hollow Parkway and Jimmy Carter Boulevard from Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 11 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Sept. 20. The victims had been walking when the suspects approached them.

"This person should be considered armed and dangerous," said Norcross PD spokesman Capt. Brian Harr in the news release.

All victims gave similar descriptions of the suspect. He's described as being a heavy-set black male, 6'0" tall, between 250 to 275 pounds, and wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans. One victim told officers the suspect had a shaved head, but a face with a five o'clock shadow.

In another incident, the victim said the offender got into a silver four-door sedan with a partial tag number of 9184.

The suspect took money and jewelry from the victims, says the release. When the victim did not comply immediately in one incident, he was struck in the mouth with a firearm.
