Norcross PD Foundation Seeks Sponsors for National Night Out

Sponsors, volunteers and exhibitors are needed for the city's first NNO.

The is asking for sponsors for the city's first annual National Night Out.

NNO is a national awareness night to help promote crime prevention and strengthen police-community partnerships, businesses and citizen involvement. The event will include a block party with demonstrations from the police, contests, youth activities, and anticrime programs for both children and adults.

National Night Out is designed to:Β 

Find out what's happening in Norcrosswith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime efforts;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships;
  • And send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

The foundation also invites civic- and service-oriented organizations to participate as an exhibitors. Exhibitors will be able to introduce their organizations and services to the Norcross community.

Norcross' first National Night Out will be August 7 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at in downtown Norcross.
