Cobb County Police have charged a Norcross man with luring a child over the Internet, and then raping her at a school playground.
U.S. Marshals located the man, 41-year-old David Christopher Roberts, in Tennessee, according to a Marietta Daily Journal report.
He is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl at an Acworth elementary school in August 2012, the report also stated.
Besides the Cobb County charges, Roberts was wanted for not remaining in compliance with registered sex offender requirements here in Gwinnett County. His sex offender status steams from a 1992 rape conviction in Indiana.
