The teacher's car, phone and cash were all recovered due to work by the investigators and the school administration.

A teacher at Norcross High School believes a student stole her car last week after her phone, cash and keys went missing.

According to the Norcross Police report, the teacher called authorities from the school late one afternoon. She told the officer that she noticed her white sedan was missing from where she parked that morning.

When talking to police, she backtracked to 12:45 p.m. when she left her classroom to attend to other business within the school. Her door wasn't locked, and when she returned, she noticed her iPhone and $28 were taken from her purse.

Security footage shows a male student entering and leaving the classroom in that time frame. The teacher believes he is the one who conducted the theft since she used her phone before she left the room.

She said she originally was going to handle the incident within the school, but then she noticed her keys and car were gone. She called authorities so that her car could be reported as stolen.

Since her house keys were also on the key ring, the teacher feared that her house could be broken into, too. The Chamblee Police Department were notified to check her home and make sure it was OK.
