Police found the body of a teenager at an address in Grayson after receiving report of a person shot. This is being investigated as a homicide.

Gwinnett County Police say that at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report of a person shot at a home in Grayson.
A male teenager was found deceased inside, apparently from a gunshot wound. Gwinnett spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith identified the victim as 14-year-old Paul Sampleton, a Grayson High School student.

Police said his father came home at about 2:30 p.m., discovered his son's body, and called police. Grayson High School was on early release for the day.
Police are still trying to determine if the boy walked in on a robbery or was ambushed. They don't know if he was targeted specifically, but say they are following up on leads.
