A major Suwanee thoroughfare was closed for several hours Wednesday evening, Nov. 28, after a two-car, head-on collision killed two adults, according to Suwanee Police and media reports.

A Mercedes and a Pontiac were involved in the accident at McGinnis Ferry Road and Scales Road, which is near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and also near the edge of Old Town Suwanee.
