Missing Person: Jeffrey McAliley

Gwinnett County Police are searching for Jeffrey McAliley, who was reported missing from an assisted living facility in Lilburn.

According to Cpl. Jake Smith, Gwinnett Police's Public Information Officer, Jeffrey McAliley was noted missing from his room around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1.

McAliley, 48, is a white male, 5’10” tall and about 175 pounds. 

"He has a distinctive shoehorn scar on the left side of his head and multiple scars on the right forearm," Smith said in a media advisory.

McAliley has blue eyes and usually wears glasses, a shaved head and light brown beard.  He was last seen wearing a bright-colored, yellow T-shirt stating “the law is three feet."

His speech may be difficult to understand, especially if he is nervous, excited or anxious, according to Smith.

The photo is slightly dated. McAliley's beard was longer the last time he was seen and no longer had beads. Anyone coming into contact with McAliley should call 911.
