A man was allegedly robbed by gunpoint after going into a hotel room to meet a woman.

A man was allegedly robbed by gunpoint after going into a hotel room to meet with a prostitute late last month.

According to the police report, the 26-year-old man arrived at the Ramada Inn in unincorporated Norcross around 7 p.m. on Jan. 20. He told Gwinnett County Police that he made contact with a thin, short female, who invited him into one of the rooms at the 5885 Rockbridge Court hotel.

Once he was in the room, a man exited the bathroom and pulled out a handgun, according to the statement. Pushing him against the wall and saying, "Give me all your money," the suspect took $50 out of the victim's wallet.

The victim said he then ran away from the room, getting away from the two suspects.

The police report notes how odd the victim was acting when speaking with officers. He wouldn't complete a written statement or accompany officers to the hotel to do a show up of possible suspects. When officers checked the hotel room, they did not find matching suspect descriptions given by the victim.

The victim also wasn't forthcoming with information, according to the report, and officers had to ask questions several times in order to get an answer from him. He did tell police that the man who robbed him was about 6'2" and had a dark complexion with short black hair.Β
