Updated: Local Woman Kills Her Husband, Then Herself
Hyun "Mickey" Ok Yu shot her husband, then committed suicide.

A Norcross woman shot her husband to death while he was sitting at his computer, then used the weapon to kill herself, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Police received an emergency call on Saturday night about 9 p.m. from a family member. They responded to a home on 6100 block of Zachary Drive in unincorporated Norcross.

Investigators now know that 46-year-old Shan Chun Yu was fatally shot once in the head by his wife, 35-year-old Hyun “Mickey” Ok Yu, while he was seated at his computer in the home the couple shared.
"Investigators obtained a witness statement from the complainant that supported Mrs. Yu shooting her husband first then turning the gun on herself and committing suicide," said Cpl. Edwin Ritter in a released statement.

Ritter said that the motivation for the murder and suicide is not yet known.
Mr. Yu was dead when emergency crews arrived on the scene. Mrs. Yu was dead when she arrived at Gwinnett Medical Center Saturday night.
