A man was shot and another was kidnapped last Saturday at an apartment complex in unincorporated Norcross. Units tended to the shot victim and the kidnapped victim was located later unharmed, according to police.
According to the Gwinnett County police report, the incident took place at on Graves Road around 7:30 a.m. Feb. 25.
Three men and one woman, ages ranging from 19 to 23, met with police at the complex's entrance and told them how three to four men came into their apartment and shot one of their friends. The men had masks and guns.
Police went to the apartment and found the shot victim behind the residence. The victim was treated on scene.
When the complainant and witness, also residents of the complex, spoke to officers, they said the suspects dragged a man at gunpoint out of the apartment. The suspects placed him in the rear of a white four-door passenger car, the two said, and they left the scene before police arrived.
Gwinnett Police Spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter said the kidnapped victim was located later uninjured, but there's not much else confirmed in the incident.
"Investigators continue to investigate but have very little to go on at this point," said Ritter.
The report describes the suspects as being Hispanic masked males who were armed with guns.
