Inside the Police Reports: 'Pop' Goes the Windshield

A student from Greater Atlanta Christian School told police that she was driving in Gwinnett when she heard a noise and all of the sudden her windshield shattered.

A young woman was driving in Gwinnett when she heard a "pop" sound and saw that her back window had shattered by an unknown object.

The incident occurred on Dogwood Road in Snellville around 1:30 p.m. last week, according to a Gwinnett County Police report. The 18-year-old, who attends Greater Atlanta Christian School, told police that she pulled into a subdivision immediately afterward.

She "has no idea who may have done something like that" to her, nor did she see anyone on the side of the street, according to the report.

The rear window is valued at $2,000. The incident is listed as criminal damage in the second degree.
