Inside the Police Reports: My Aunt Is Trying to Poison Me, My Dog

A Norcross woman told police that she has evidence to support her claim, but she's not willing to show the proof to police just yet.

A Norcross woman called authorities last week to report that she believes her aunt is trying to poison her and her dog.Β

According to the police report, the 57-year-old woman told Norcross Police that she has evidence to support her claim. She didn't want to tell or show this proof to the officer at the time, though, nor did she provide her aunt's name because she "did not want to start anything," says the report.

The reason why she fears for the safety of her and her dog, she said, is because her aunt apparently killed her father with poison sometime ago.

Despite the death, she told police that she didn't feel threatened at the time; she only wanted to alert authorities of the situation.

The Norcross woman admitted to having a history of mental illness, but assured she was taking her medication as prescribed.
