Gwinnett Police Look for Suspects in Sexual Assault/Home Invasion

The two men entered through a bedroom window before the assault happened.

Gwinnett Police are asking for the public’s help in capturing two men suspected in a Jan. 30 report of home invasion and aggravated sexual battery at an apartment complex on South Norcross-Tucker Road.

Investigators with the department’s Special Victims Unit say two black males entered through the window of a bedroom while the woman resident was sleeping.

The assault took place at the Carrington Chase Apartments, located at 6280 South Norcross Tucker Road in the unincorporated area of Tucker in Gwinnett County.

The woman told police that one of the suspects sexually assaulted her while the other man remained outside as a lookout. She said the two men left with her keys and a laptop computer.

Police have canvassed the area with flyers and a composite sketch of the first suspect (see sketch to the right).

The woman described the first suspect as a black male, 6 feet-to-6 feet 3 inches tall, around 200 pounds, with a large mole on the edge of his upper left eyelid. He was wearing a black watch cap, black gloves, a black zip-up jacket and black sweatpants. She said the man had lip twitches and continuously licked his lips.

The second suspect is described as a black male, around 5 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hood or mask and a black fur, or fake fur, jacket.
