Attention, gun owners, and those who are interested in firearms matters. The Gwinnett Police Department will hold a Firearms Safety Seminar on Thursday, April 4. Time is 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville.
According to a GCPD news release, personnel from the Gwinnett Police Academy will cover several topics, including Georgia carry and deadly force laws, how to obtain a carry permit, personal defense, and types of weapons and their use.
Attendees are not to bring firearms to this event and will have to pass a security checkpoint.

Seating is limited to 300, so attendees are asked to register by emailing gunsafety@gwinnettcounty.com.
