Drug Take Back Day Is This Saturday

Dispose old prescription drugs as part of Norcross' bi-annual Recycle and Clean-Up Day.

It's time for a second dose of Norcross' clean-up and recycling day for 2012, and to go with it, Norcross Police are getting in on the action with the National Drug Take Back event.

"Each day, approximately, 2,500 teens use prescription drugs to get high for the first time according to the Partnership for a Drug Free America," says a Nixle alert from Norcross PD. "Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including the home medicine cabinet."
