Do You Have What It Takes for the Norcross Citizens Police Academy?

The Norcross Police Department is looking for 25 individuals for the 10-week program.

The Norcross Police Department is gearing up for its 2012 Citizens Police Academy and is accepting applications for program

The free 10-week class, which is open to those 18 years and older, will have one session per week.

"[It] shows citizens how the Norcross Police Department operates and explains why we do what we do," said Officer Jennifer Gardner.

The program starts Tuesday, Oct. 2, and will meet every Tuesday until the program ends.

For interested parties, stop by the at 65 Lawrenceville Street in Norcross and fill out an application.
