Charges are pending for 42-year-old Dacula resident Kenneth Griffin, a driver involved in a fatal car collision Monday on Beaver Ruin Road in unincorporated Norcross.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Griffin, who was driving a red BMW, was traveling west in the left turn on Beaver Ruin Rd. at the I-85 bridge. Four other drivers, one of them a motorcyclist, was stopped for the traffic light in the left turn lane.
The driver of the BMW failed to stop and crashed into the stationary vehicles, causing a chain reaction accident, says the release.
as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash, according to a press release from Gwinnett County Police. Three other drivers were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with non-life threatening emergencies.
