Arrest Made in Norcross Area Homicide Case

The family of Norcross area resident Timothy Kemp is getting some sense of closure over 4 months after behind his Harbin Springs apartment.

Justo Luis Alonzo, 29, has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm and criminal attempt to commit armed robbery in connection with this case, according to Gwinnett County Police.

in August, asking anyone with information about their relative to come forward. They said he took public transportation to work and was likely walking home from the bus stop on the evening of his death.

The leads in the case were exhausted shortly after the 46-year-old was found, but new information recently came to light, according to a Gwinnett Police release.  Some parts of the investigation are ongoing
