Update: 2 Shot, Killed in Norcross Area

Vandara Nao of Stone Mountain has been charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Two men were shot and killed Friday evening at an apartment complex in unincorporated Norcross in what police believe may be a drug-related incident.

Gwinnett County Police were dispatched around to , located at 6069 S. Norcross Tucker Road, around 11:30 p.m. May 11, according to a press release from police spokesman Officer Jeffery Richter. When officers arrived near building 300, they noticed gunshot wounds to the two men, who died at the scene.

The two victims were Javier “Pancho” Deveaux, 21, and Haben Kifle, 19, both of Stone Mountain, according to a press release Monday.

Vandara Nao, 21, also of Stone Mountain, was found near the incident scene and has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault.

A female also found near the scene was arrested but not charged.

The investigation indicated the incident appears to be drug related, but details are still under investigation.
