The Norcross Police Dept. located a missing 12-year-old girl at 8:15 a.m after a long evening.
The parents of Thalia Smalls said they last saw her on the 500 block of Nesbit Street in the City of Norcross around 4 p.m. yesterday, triggering police and the media to put a call out for a black female with short, straight black hair, wearing glasses.
After seeing a news report, a neighbor of one of Smalls' friends called to say she had seen her. She was located at the friends' house, where she had gone without permission, according to Cpt. Brian Harr of the Norcross Police Dept. "I would do it all again," he said, adding that safety is his top priority.
