Will You Be Watching the Debate or Have You Already Voted?
With 29 states, including Georgia, already voting, just how much of an influence is the final debate likely to have on the election?
The final debate before the official 2012 Election Day will be tonight, but just how many votes will it really affect?
According to a story on NBC News, both campaigns have been working hard on the early vote, something that the Obama campaign did very well on in 2008. With 29 of the 31 states that vote early with the polls already open, many voters have already made up their minds and voted that choice.
NBC reports that early voting is already on a par, possibly exceeding, 2008 levels when the Obama campaign was crediting with being able to take advantage of getting early voters to the polls. It reports that the Romney campaign is on to the secret this time around, however, and is already working feverishly on a ground game to do the same.
