Norcross Resident Walter Gallagher Passes Away

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 in the Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Home.

Walter S. Gallagher, age 83 of Norcross passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m.. Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the Chapel of Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home with Father Daniel Dice and Father John Bolton officiating.

Mr. Gallagher was employed with Jim Ellis Maserati / Mazda of Atlanta and a member of Church of Our Saviour in Atlanta, GA. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary Jane Gallagher; daughter and son-in-law- Tricia Gallagher and Andrew Goodspeed, of Peachtree Corners, GA; son and daughter-in-law- Stanley and Cathleen Gallagher, of Waxhaw, NC; son and partner- Will Gallagher and Carolyn Joslin, of Roswell, GA; brother and sister-in-law- J. Richard and Dottie Gallagher, of York, PA; sister- Betty Jean Latham, of Chatham, NY; grandchildren- Isaac Goodspeed, of Peachtree Corners, GA; Asher Goodspeed, of Peachtree Corners, GA; Sean Gallagher, of Waxhaw, NC and Colin Gallagher, of Waxhaw, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Duluth High School Band Boosters Association, Post Office Box 1391, Duluth, Georgia 30096 or Boy Scout Troop 650 Garage Fund, 5100 S Old Peachtree Rd, Norcross, GA 30092 in Mr. Walter S. Gallagher’s name.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092. 770-448-5757.
