Norcross Holiday Yard Decorating Contest Winners

Guess who won the whopping $250 gift certificate for the best decorated home this season?

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, five judges spent more than 4-and-a-half hours driving through every neighborhood in the entire community for Norcross' annual Holiday Yard Decorating Contest.

The judges commented that the houses that were the best lit up tended to get the most attention, as they are easier to enjoy at night, when most people will be out driving around and enjoying decorations. They added that it was a tough decision (as proven by the number of Honorable Mentions!) to choose which homes earned the titles of being the most whimsical, best traditional and more, because there were so many wonderfully creative decorations on homes throughout the community. The fact that people really made an effort to get out and decorate was appreciated by the judges, too.

The creativity and sense of holiday that is exhibited by the Norcross community is very impressive!
