Last Chance: Have You Set Your Facebook Timeline Yet?

This week is the last chance for Facebook Timeline procrastinators to switch over before Facebook does it for you.

This week we've started a new series titled “Last Chance,” our effort to help our readers take care of something before it’s too late.

You have until the weekend to voluntary convert to Facebook’s Timeline. If you don’t, Facebook will do it for you. Brand pages will be converted on Friday and your personal page on Saturday.

I have to confess to being one of the procrastinators and will probably get around to doing the switch later in the week or just let Facebook do it for me! But I have been poking around the preview page and did upload the cover photo (I'll be changing that photo from time to time).

So, if you haven’t done it yet, this week is your last chance to take control of your own Facebook destiny. Here is a link to an article by Tech Soup that should help overcome some of those Facebook Timeline fears.

Editor's note: If you know of upcoming deadlines, scroll to the bottom of the Norcross Patch home page , look for the "Contribute" header in the bottom right corner, click " Put an event on the calendar " or " Announce something to everyone ," fill in all the fields, and your event, announcement, photos and videos will automatically go up on Patch.

I think the recent change in Facebook is great, although its confusing at first glance, once I got use to it, I found it much more interesting. Thanks, Norcross Patch.

Thanks for your input, Neva! I completely agree; Timeline can be confusing, but I definitely like the banner at the top of the page, now.

Hi Sarah! You're doing a fine job with your articles. Reporting news can be difficult, I understand, because I've done it before in a local mag-paper, with local city of Norcross news. Its a great place even to America, live, work and play > > >
