Mt. Carmel UMC Pre-School Raising Funds for Playground

The pre-school is in need of new cypress chips and playground equipment.

Earlier this week, Georgia Patches ran stories with links to fund-raising campaigns in the metro area on GoFundMe, a website which is a Patch partner.

Several campaigns in the Norcross and Peachtree Corners area are listed (you can search for local efforts by town name, ZIP code or name).

Included is a request from Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church on Spalding Drive, that is need of new equipment and cypress chips for its pre-school playground.

Lorrie Cameron Ignatius started the campaign.

"Every year we need to refill our playgrounds with Cyprus chips which are the safest and "greenest" way to keep us injury-free while we play! After years of use, we also need to replace equipment."
