“Meet the Bee” will be presented by Gina Gallucci, president of the Metro Atlanta Beekeepers' Association and master beekeeper.

Gina will be discussing how she got interested in beekeeping, and facts about the hive. Gina is an avid gardener and will be explaining what bees are attracted to in the garden. As a special treat, Gina is bringing honey harvested from her bees for tasting. The Norcross City Council recently approved an ordinance to allow beekeeping on residential lots within the city limits. All are welcome to join us for this interesting, informative presentation about bees and beekeeping.
If you cannot make it to the Evening Meeting, there is also a day meeting earlier in the week, Monday, May 9th, 10:45am. The day meeting group will hold a Horticultural Roundtable. Members will bring interesting garden specimens or other garden items to show, share, identify or comment to the group. Join us for this fun exchange of gardening information and ideas.
